Our Aire Super Puma Drift Boat.
Full and half day trips are
offered as well as shorter evening trips to the Housatonic River, Farmington
River, and several smaller streams. Anglers can choose to wade or float via
drift boat. This is a comfortable raft that is equiped with swivel mounted
seats fore and aft and is a great way to fish those places that are
otherwise unaccessable. We will supply all the equipment, flies and a
homemade gourmet lunch.
There are never more than three anglers per guide
and we work closely with other experienced guides to accommodate for
group outings. Because we fish on the river year round, we are intimate
with the rivers hatches and water flows. This knowledge gives us the
ability to find the best possible fishing given current conditions. In
most cases, there is always productive fishing.

Whether you are picking up a
fly rod for the first time or are a seasoned veteran, emphasis will be
spent on your particular interests.
Rob Nicholas, certified casting instructor,
has been guiding on the Housatonic since 1993 and has been guided by some of the worlds best, in places
like New Zealand, Argentina, Chile, The Keys, and the American West. Rob
will share with you his knowledge and experience in the wonderful world of
fly fishing.
